-Orsakað av avbjóðingum við veitingini av passum úr Danmark tekur tað nógv longri tíð enn vanligt at fáa nýggj pass heim til Føroya.

Vit mæla tí øllum borgarum til at bíleggja pass í eyka góðari tíð.

DET TAGER I ØJEBLIKKET LÆNGERE TID AT FÅ NYT PAS

På grund af udfordringer med leveringen af pas fra Danmark tager det i øjeblikket væsentligt længere tid end normalt at få nye pas til Færøerne.

Vi anbefaler derfor alle borgere at bestille pas i ekstra god tid.

LONGER PROCESSING TIME FOR PASSPORTS

Due to challenges with the delivery of passports from Denmark, it currently takes significantly longer than usual to receive new passports in the Faroe Islands.

We therefore recommend that all citizens apply for passports well in advance.
