Tað er sera týdningarmikið, at tey sum koma til Tórshavnar kommunu skulu kenna seg væl móttiknan og kenna síni rættindi. Tað er eisini týdningarmikið, í tann mun, tað letur seg gera, fáa hjálp til at nýta sínar útbúgvingar og sínar starvsroyndir í kommununi til gagns fyri seg sjálvi, kommununa og alt samfelagið.
Kommunan skal bjóða tilflytarum viðkomandi skeið og kunna um frítíðarvirksemi, almenn tiltøk o.a. í lokal økinum.
Samstundis er sjálvandi sera týdningarmikið at integrera børnini í samfelagið. Kommunan skal veita børnum, sum ikki hava føroyskt sum móðurmál, skipaða málmenning á aldurssvarandi stigi á dagstovnum og fólkaskúlanum,
soleiðis at børnini skjótast gjørligt kunnu koma í samband við onnur børn í nærumhvørvinum og skilja og spæla við tey.
Tað er sera týdningarmikið, at kommunan er fyri øll, eisini okkara tilflytarar. Hesum vil eg arbeiða fyri.

Are We Adequately Integrating Our Foreign Residents in the Municipality?
Tórshavn Municipality is home to a diverse population, encompassing individuals from various cultural backgrounds. However, the question arises: are we sufficiently integrating them into Faroese society?
It is imperative that individuals who move to Tórshavn Municipality feel welcomed and are fully informed of their rights. Equally crucial is ensuring that immigrants receive the necessary support to apply their educational qualifications and professional experience within the municipality, thereby contributing to both their personal development and the community.
The municipality should offer relevant courses for immigrants and provide comprehensive information regarding recreational activities, public events, and other community initiatives in the local area.
Furthermore, special attention must be paid to the integration of children. The municipality has a responsibility to ensure that children who do not have Faroese as their native language receive structured language development tailored to their age level in daycare centers, primary schools, and higher learning.
This approach will enable children to swiftly engage with their peers in the local community, facilitating both social interaction and participation in play.
The municipality must serve all residents, including immigrants. This is an issue I am committed to addressing.
For this reason, I advocate for supporting Fólkaflokkinum and Jan Vestergaard in the upcoming Tórshavn city council election.
